How long do you recommend treating for marine velvet?

30 days treat all fish in a quarantine tank with an ammonia badge by sea chem and daily water changes to keep it in the "yellow" testing dosage daily. Coppersafe is my recommendation.

Leave DT fishless 76 days.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
