What is you PO4 out of interest?

Just wondering what fish you have & how much you feed the tank in comparison to the rated size of the scrubber?

I would use the filter socks, & clean them once a week.
I would also give the substrate a good clean.
I would run GAC.

There's something not right for the tank to get to the state its in.
You need to solve the problem or it may come back after its corrected.

For fish , I have a Dogface Puffer, Picasso Trigger , BiColor Angel, Molly Miller blenny , Sailfin Tang , Flame Hawkfish.

I feed a brine shrimp cube a day , Nori sheet , and I Target feed puffer and trigger with IQF Krill or Hikari Clams once a day.

I was feeding more last week but cut down

I agree you need some water changes. And also highly recomend Vibrant. It's a biological and will absolutely work. Some algaes show effects in as little as 24 hours.

Turn off your algae scrubber if you use it. I think you could just leave the screen in a pan of salt water near the window for a number of weeks and it would still be well-populated when you reinstalled in the scrubber.

If I don't see results with 24/7 scrubber in a couple weeks I will try what you said . My scrubber has been growing well so it may be able to do the job

Let me know how its all going by using @Scrubber_steve in this thread because one can't rely on general notifications to be alerted I find, a lot.

Harvested the scrubber screen last night , chamber was also full of algae . Have scrubber going 24/7 , lights out all day except for 30 minutes at night when I feed the fish. I have been Target feeding the puffer and trigger. One cube of brine shrimp , that is it. So we will see how things progress over the next two weeks

I ran it for 7 weeks gha dissappear then red slime showed up thats when I found my phosphates at .12 and nitrates at 10 like my algea scrubber just up and shut down. I would not use it . Run just blue light and pull what you can by hand and get your peramiters right

Well , today after a 20% water change my scubber kicked back in so my nitrates made it to 10 and phosphates around .14( today 0 and 0) just like that . I hope its not to hard on my corals changing that fast like over night.
