Weird bug on hammer.. flat, white, slightly spiraled, with antennae and possibly something red near the mouth. Help with is?

found this weird thing on my hammer! At first I thought it was a flat worm but you can see it almost looks like it has a head with antennae, possibly some form of larvae? It’s quite bit though. Close to inch tip to tip.

That looks like a pod of some kind inside a feather duster worm tube to me.

Edit: or a large vermetid snail tube.

So no larvae looks similar eh? I’m going to try to post a video but I don’t think that works here.

pics a little fuzzy. Can you provide a couple of clearer pics? May be a polychaete wom but hard to tell in pic
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
