Hello there,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with something. I absolutely love the placement of my torch coral and don't want to move them.

But they get a lot of flow sometimes (maybe too much, you tell me!), and the Joker torch coral flaps towards the powerhead and not away from it. I've attached a video to help show what's going on, along with a photo to show the placement of the return. I have the powerhead set to 25% and return to 40%, and cannot figure out how to stop the reverse flow. The plan is to have the whole lower portion rockwork the torches are on to be covered in torch coral.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Andrew 439813474_796561385730225_8853668248059516636_n.jpg

Lol I thought the same about torch flow, until I blew the heads off a beautiful 3 head Dragon Soul. :downcast-face-with-sweat: To be clear, the powerhead was then at 50% and the return on 50% was also pointed at the torches.

The video shows up as an attachment for me. If you can't see it I will try to reload it.

I just uploaded my video to YouTube. Fingers crossed it works. If you need a longer video then I’m happy to take another.

Thanks for your feedback!!

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
