I’ve been happy with the KP Aquatics rock I ordered last year.

What do you consider a “ridiculous price”?
All liverock from the ocean will be a lot more expensive than dry rock, and you will also have to ship it in water adding to the cost

Anything with a minimum order of 20 pound and has a price of 100 or so maybe $75.

Yeah, but but the tank is a 125.
You won’t find any rock for under $100 that will be enough for a 125gallon tank.

Dry rock would be your best bet but it will take MUCH longer to cycle and mature and you will have to deal with the uglies

I don’t want to spend $120 on 20 pounds on base rock and then spend Even more on the premium stuff.

What exactly are you trying to do?

You’re setting up a new 125g tank…. But don’t want to spend the money on rocks to set it up….
You want live rock from the ocean but don’t wanna pay for it.
People have mentioned dry rock and you don’t want that either.

Do you even know what you’re trying to do yourself?
Not trying to be mean or rude but you keep saying no to every suggestion put forward and give no details on what you’re trying to accomplish.

Nobody can help you if you don’t convey what it is you’re looking to do.

Reef tank?
Fowler?

You mentioned “seeding the tank”.
Do you already have dry rock for the tank to use, and that’s why you need some live to seed the rest?
