Curious to see what this may be growing on the glass of my Copepod grow tank.
There are 4-5 of these that have seemingly shown up over night. I recently moved the copepods from a 5 gallon bucket into this tank. Before doing so I thoroughly washed and scrubbed this tank with vinegar and water. What is shown in this picture is very small - smaller than the tip of a ballpoint pen. For scale - in the lower left you can see a copepod.

This tank has been its own stand alone system except for one ~1” cube of live rock rubble I took from my DT to seed some BB, a jar of 5280 Pods, and OceanMagik phytoplankton fed regularly.

My DT has a handful of small pineapple sponges growing in a couple areas - my thoughts are that this could be the very early stages of them, transferred over on the small price of rubble. Interested to see what some other people think. I do not believe this is aiptaisa because there is absolutely none to be found in my main tank.
Thanks in advance!
