Hello all junkies!

I am trying to put together a few things for the upcoming meeting in June. I need a few ideas about what YOU want to learn about. Please let me know as soon as possible! Ideas for topics...How to get rid of nuisance algae, refugium vs bio-pellets, or Is LEDs really worth the $$$?

If you have other ideas, please post! This club is about the members and we want to know what you want to know!

Ive had bad experiences with live rock bringing in abunch of critters. worst was a 12-15" bristle worm. Thats why I only use that synthetic real reef stuff.

I got some kind of worm once that was infamous for leaving slime balls around the tank. It would encapsulate its victim (clam or snail) with slime, go in and eat, and come back out. Its victims weren't able to get out of the slime so easily. He was about 8-10" long.

Overall, I've had good luck with live rock, but I think I probably won't just drop rock in the tank anymore. The last batch I got, about 60lbs, I scrubbed hair algae off of it and left it in the kitchen floor for about three days. I then put it in the tank and had no problems at all. All the algae that was left had died off.
