Hey Guys!
New to the community!
Someone gifted me a coral but can’t seem to find what it is. Hope you can help me identify it.

Thanks!

Appreciate it! Wondering how pretty this one will turn out. Thoughts?!
Lol, it depends on how well you like it, and how well you care for it!

If you think it's pretty, then when it gets bigger it will only become more pretty!

If you don't think it looks pretty, then it's not pretty in your eyes, and it will never be as beautiful as others perceive it.

If you don't take care of it well, then it won't grow well, and it won't be as pretty as it could be!

It's not a dragon soul; dragon soul/prism are either Dipsastraea rosaria or Favites paraflexuosus depending on the collection locality. This coral is Favites pentagona. You can tell by the corallite shape and size.

I can’t tell by the shape or size because I don’t know the difference :) I knew it was favites but not the exact ID

Listen to encrustingacro, they know their facts!
