How in the.... I've never seen these "floating" tanks. I couldn't have one of those long term, I wouldnt be able to sleep comfortably at night. I would really like to know how this works structurally.

The floating tanks gotta be solid concrete, No? Only way I would feel comfortable.

Simple cantilever design, sometimes you'll see the use of hidden guy wires. A properly designed cantilever can support a lot more weight than a reef tank at the spans you see there.

Admittedly, they definitely are a conversation starters.

How in the.... I've never seen these "floating" tanks. I couldn't have one of those long term, I wouldnt be able to sleep comfortably at night. I would really like to know how this works structurally.

Pretty easy! I cantilever signs that weigh 10’s of thousands of pounds.. like a bill board for instance! It’s all about engineering lol..

Boggles my mind knowing aquariums can be built like that.. But I guess if you really think about other structural/architectural designs around the world, it's easy to overlook the feats of engineering,

And it’s for sale lol! Someone would have to reconstruct their entire house/mowt buildings to fit this and then worry about weight. Not to mention the insane price tag of $150,000! Yes that’s six figures for a glass box extremely difficult to transport and wouldn’t fit through most buildings let alone a house.
