Found this on the frag plug I pulled from my tank with a dead torch coral. Can someone ID these? I am thinking this is what killed the torch. Is the second photo eggs? How do I treat the tank for any more that may be hiding and breeding?

With gelatinous stuff like this, pics in the water are almost always better for ID purposes - I'd put them both in a container of tank water (outside of the tank) and see if we can't get a better idea of what we're looking at here that way.

I poked the jelly thing in the first photo with a sewing needle, and watched it crawl like a Snail or Slug. I've already smashed it so no more photos available.
