Newbie to the forum. I've had several tanks on and off throughout my life but mostly freshwater. It's been a few years. Decided to try nano biocube and its working good so far. Realizing last time I had saltwater I didn't know what I was doing. Anyway still trying to learn creatures that show up. My wife thinks this guy is ugly. Lol. Wondering if it's going to be a pest and if I should try and remove it. Tank has been running for about 6 months.

Thanks

Looks like it might be a kenyan tree coral. They can grow very, very fast and take over a tank. Some love them; some hate them.

Thanks. I think the vote is to remove it. I don't like it that much and it's growing pretty fast.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
