Just bought this clownfish from Petco for $15 under premium assorted clownfish , anybody know what kind is it? Looks like it almost wanted to be a Wyoming white lol

Yeah, it’s looks like a black ice. And 15$?! That is a scam for the store, you lucked out (as long as this fish is healthy)

Petco in our area gets all random designer clowns in and price them $15-$25. One of the associates told me that someone from a shady lfs in Indy comes in and buys them all and then sells them in their shop for $100-$200. Said they’ve banned multiple workers from purchasing livestock due to this reason.

Thanks for letting me know what it was! I actually just picked up a new clownfish that I was lucky enough to adopt out ! It looks like a phantom black clownfish to me?

I just picked one like this up at my LFS for $50, was labeled black ice. You got a steal
