Who here was gonna tell me hermit crabs molt

So today, after about 6 months of reef keeping, I have found out hermit crabs do indeed molt. I have tossed out a hermit crab or two thinking they were dead. And everytime I would do an overall test all my paremeters would come out positive and ok. And I would think my CBS would be killing them off but I just realized they may have most likely been molts. Makes me wonder if I tossed any emerald crabs mid molt as well. Emerald crabs I have no luck in keeping and they are just the one thing I cannot keep for a week.

emerald crab molts are the worst about looking like a dead crab. Came home today and my halloween crab had molted and his legs looked like normal, just the rest of the body molt was opaque and sort of see through to let me know it was just a molt.

Usually find molts stuck in a powerhead.
Once found one in the mouth of a scoly but he will eat literally anything
