My belief is that wrasses are vulnerable at night because they go into their resting mode and get picked on as they try to find a little cave or whatever
I’ve had an LFS guy tell me small pistol shrimp will do it. Who knows if he’s right.
What I do know is everyone gets along fine during the day and the flasher / fairy wrasses disappear at night
I picked up a little six line and he’s fine though - but since I added him I can’t add more
