Hello, I have read multiple link and forums on this topic but would like to hear your opinion.

My newest tank will be up and running before you know it I am going to be attempting a SPS dominant tank for the most part. But my first love has always been zoas. I happen to see photos and videos of it “working” but not sure if it’s a constant battle and trimming back etc..

Question being what is the consensus on zoas on your rock work being in a SPS system? What is best solution? Bottom of rockwork? Dedicated island?

Thanks in advance.

Mine are on a dedicated rock at the bottom. They are doing really well, but despite touching other rocks, they haven’t spread off their home rock. I’m not sure how rapid they can spread but mine have been slow. They’ve been in the tank 3 years and still hang out here.
