I don't mean to mess up your thread. But what is the difference between a trachy wellso and lobo? Beautiful corals might have to put in a order.

I don't mean to mess up your thread. But what is the difference between a trachy wellso and lobo? Beautiful corals might have to put in a order.

Last I've heard was that Trachy's and Wellso's have actually been reviewed and are currently considered essentially the same thing. However, to distinguish the two is very easy, simply flip them over. Trachy's have a pointed semi-conical bottom, where as Wellso's are flat (the skeleton that is.)

Lobo's are in their own family, different structure to the coralite/skeleton. That said, care is very similar between all three.

Not a perfect answer, but maybe some helpful info.
