I notice the 250 watt Radium is not running on a good ballast in their tests as it only rates 230 watts in actual use. (Excellent that they post those numbers so at least we can tell!)
By comparison, the default 250 watt Iwasaki 6500K was apparently run on the same ballast, but achieved the power levels I would have expected from the Radium. It's no wonder even aside from spectrum-completeness why people grow plants | corals like crazy under the Iwasaki's - they are probably brighter than a lot of their competition just by burning hotter. :) (Which, again, is ordinarily part of "the trick" with Radiums too.)
