SCIENTIFIC NAME - Echidna nebulosa

COMMON NAME - Snowflake Moray (Clouded Moray, Starry Moray)

SIZE - 29.5" (75 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 30 US Gal. ( 114 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty foods, fresh and frozen fish, crustacean flesh, krill using a feeding stick. Feed 2 times a week to satiation

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat ornamental crustaceans and fish tankmates

CAPTIVE CARE - Acclimates well, accepting most foods once acclimated. This species stays fairly small, and is usually not aggressive unless it is feeding time. Can be kept with other eels, but a resident may not accept a newly introduced conspecific. Cannibalism is not unfounded but should not pose a threat if fed well. Only one can be kept per tank and it should be provided with plenty of hiding places and a tight fitting canopy.
