So who's started off the new year with a string of bad luck?

So we all have the new year resolutions and what we want to make better in the upcoming year. For some that is great and all is good. For others, like me, the year starts out with a string of bad luck. So how many others have been having this type of year so far?

- Bed bug infestation at my duplex from the neighbor downstairs ($1500)
- Hospital bill came in as I didn't realize the changes in my insurance required a deductable to be paid first ($1200)
- Alternator fried in our Ford Escape ($500)
- Drier failed so we repaced the set ($1000)
- Escape broken into in my driveway and GPS unit stolen ($150)
- Wife bit into food and shattered a front tooth last night ($ undetermined yet bot probably $500-$1000 as I don't have dental insurance)

And it's only the 11th.... This better stop soon :(

Anyone else on the bad luck train I'm on?

One good thing is my baby turns 1 on Jan 20th so I am looking forward to that :)

Yikes! Hope you are just getting it all of the way right away. As a free tip, try not making too much fun of your wife's missing tooth, one too many hilly billy jokes and she'll add another bullet point to your year to date of bad luck report.
