Finally started the upgrade, all that's left to do is buy the plumbing, buy the return pump, and replace some baffles in the sump. Here's some pics.

Thanks, the only thing wrong with the rodi is that it needs new o rings.

It has cooled down a little but usually its unbearably hot.

Multiple Tank Syndrome has a long incubation period. Soon you'll have breeding tanks, rearing tanks, culture tanks, LPS tank, SPS tank, FOWLR tank, etc... Seek help now before it's too late!

Lol i already have 3 tanks that are running. My nano in 90 contest tank, another 10 gal that is a holding tank for coral that is going into the 36, and my 3 gal pico that just has a hermit in it but eventually will be my dwarf seahorse tank. Plus over the weekend, we picked up a 14 gal zero edge tank for $50! I think we're gunna need a bigger house!!

One step closer! Got it plumbed! Actually ended up plumbing the zero edge tank into it.

My husband stole my nightstand that he built for me and is using it for the zero edge stand. He cut out the top so he could sink the tank down into it. This stand will also house the ato. All we have to buy now is rock and salt. Its taking longer than i want to get going but i should be cycling by September.

I have a question about my light. How high off the water should it be?

Cycling is under way! Ammonia is at 1.0 ppm this morning, got about 20lbs of rock in the 36, need about 20 lbs more and sand but that has to wait until next month. Also have the zero edge going, I convinced the hubby to put black sand in it. I still have no idea on how I'm going to scape the 36 yet.

Update time! I had to get a new external return pump because my little giant that I got from a friend gave out on me. Scored a mag 7 for $25! Also, my husband built my hood and I bought my rock and sand. I ordered it from reefrocks.net, got 50lbs of rock for $85 and 40lbs of sand for the price of shipping. Total amount spent was $99.95!
