This is my first saltwater fish/reef aquarium. I'm starting a thread to try and win the "Share Your Tank & Win 10,000 Pennies" contest. I'm having issues with GHA and brown sand and could use the money to tackle the problem. :)

This hobby has become the biggest love/hate relationship that I have ever encountered. :tongue:

lights out for 4 days and 50% wc then do it again once it starts to come back. works for me (but that doesnt mean it would work for anyone else)

ps nice looking setup though

I was doing 5 gallon (about 25% as there is only about 20 gallons of water) weekly water changes and even did a 10 gallon water change one week with real ocean water. I almost had it completely eradicated until Easter weekend and I used water from a different LFS and it came back. I can't say for sure it was the different water but that is all that I changed.
