Hello all,

Just wanted to say a brief Hi to everyone here and hope to get to know alot of you while picking your brains for info. Can never learn enough in this hobby. Have been in the hobby for awhile and am a member of a local reef club, but wanted to become part of a bigger family here as we hear many great things about the r2r members. We currently have a biocube setup and are in the process of cycling a new 60 g Cube as a new home home for our family of corals and fish. Pics too follow.

We hope to make some friends here and learn lots of new things and hopefully help others just starting out.

So after 2 months of changing things the tank is starting to finally set in. We have changed some things to the tank. I changed out the wp-25 for 2 wp-10's and added a jebao dc6000 instead of the 3000 initially used. The 10's seem to be working in fine and give the whole tank a good continous flow.

We have had some bumps trying to get parameters in check, but all seems to be stabilizing now that we have got a routine down on the dosing. Still fighting nitrates but I'm hesitant to use chemicals so trying to let the tank do things it's way. Which is always slow and impatiently, but I'm trying to relax and let it do it's thing.

We have added a pair of tangerine albino clowns, helfrichi fire fish and a mimic tang, as well as a few chalices and zoas. Everything seems to be doing well except for the acros, but thats expected untill I get the nitrates lower. All in all were very happy with everything and how it turned out.

Now lets see those other updates, always enjoy seeing new things that people come up with.
