I wanted people to see at least one of my tanks, so I took some new pictures of my 12 gallon nano a little while ago. This tank has been setup for about 2 years. The pictures are not the best, but here you go.

I had somebody tell me that you could not keep a clam in a nano, or with PC lighting, so I wanted to show them that it was not true.

The clam does not grow fast. It was three inches when I put it in about 2 years ago, and right now I am going to guess that it is about 4.5 inches long.

Thank you. I frag stuff out of it all the time to keep things under control.

Nice, established tank! Please tell me more about the tank specs. What kind of lighting combo do you run, and how often do you replace the lamps? What kind of flow (pumps, etc.)? Chemical media, if any? Also, what's the name of that SPS, and how long have you had it?

The tank is close to stock. The lights area a 24 watt daylight and a 24 watt actinic running on the stock ballast. Flow is upgraded a little, the return pump was replaced by a maxijet 1200, and there is a second pump in the tank for flow, I don't remember the make/model, but it is a very small one, I am going to guess around 100 gph or less.

Bulbs are replaced about every 16 months on this tank. Chemical media, don't run any. Top off is kalk when I remember to do it, rest of the time just RO/DI. I do try to do a gallon or so waterchange every 2 weeks or so.

SPS coral, it is an Acro, but I do not know what species of Acro to be honest.
