I won this skimmer at a swap and I have never used it. It would make a decent skimmer for a frag tank or a small tank. It is still in the box and has not seen water. The only problem is that it has a part cracked. The part that is cracked is what they call a silencer and all it does is help keep micro bubbles down. It is not broke apart but is cracked. You can use glue to make sure it stays put, but it DOES NOT effect the skimmer skimming. These things are like $145 plus shipping. I will sell this one for $110 Shipped!

i can't find much about how well these things work or I might be interested. most of what I see says it takes a lot of work, but I know there must be something good to it.

Jimmy I honestly have no idea about these skimmers. Like I said, I won it. I would let it go to a local reefer for $85.
