I have opened up the sps, lps and zoa commonly named coral database forum for your reference and for your help! These databases are far from complete and this is where you can play a part.

When we are close to finishing the list in these forums I will create a master alphabetical list so navigating will be easier. For now this is how you can help. We need you to go through the sps, lps and zoa database forum and create new threads for corals that are missing. Example: If you don't see a topic created for say Raptors Rainbow Zoas then you would start a new thread with the title as Raptors Rainbows and then you would add your picture. That's it!

We really need your help to make sure we cover all of the "NAMED" corals for this Database. We also need people to add pictures to the different threads. The best images will replace the main first post image so that we can have the best representation of the named coral.

By creating and entry you give R2R permission to use your photo in the database.

SPS Identification Database

Zoanthid Identification Database

LPS Identification Database

So who will help?

THANKS!

What I would love to see out of these ID threads is species names. (Especially for Acros) Also tips on care, lighting, placement, feeding, fragging, etc.

I also noticed the SPS ID area is much neater than the Zoa and LPS. All of the "what is this coral threads" are mixed in with the nice clean new threads.

We can address the species ID's as well as we go.

Also there are the Zoa/Lps Database and the Zoa/Lps ID forum. I think you're getting the two mixed maybe?

Hello,
I was just curios if anyone might know what this is? It is spreading on one of my rocks, and looks like it is branching at the bottom. (With branching, I thought it might be a coral?)
