Since adding a new, stronger light, the cabbage coral has closed up, and now it’s bubbling. I brushed and blew off the bubbles on its surface, but all these bubbles are under the skin and inside the flesh. Is this because it’s receiving too much light and wasn’t acclimated to the new lighting...
My cabbage coral has lost its “leafy” appearance as it seems to be stretching up. It’s showing good polyp extension and seems to be doing just fine.
It’s on the bottom in the middle of my tank under an Ap700 at 70%.
Has anyone seen this before? Should I try placing it higher up?
