disco ball

I’m going to build a diffuser for my Hydra out of a textured fluorescent light cover and some acrylic rod. I’m going to glue 4-6 1.5” acrylic rods onto the cover that will be cut slightly larger than the hydra and then glue that to the hydra. Has anyone tried this? Anyone have any thoughts on it?

Just equipped the temporary frag/grow out tank with Gen4 Pro radions yesterday. Was previously running 6 bulb T5 on the 40 long tank. Immediately I was disappointed in the level of disco ball effect from the LEDs. Going to attempt some solutions since the reduced electricity bill is the...
