is this aiptasia?

I’m not sure what on the hermit crab’s shell. I’m hoping not the dreaded aiptasia…… also what are these white things appearing on the rock? Thanks in advance for helping out a novice.

Checking on my sump and these are starting to pop up. Is it Aiptasia and if so, what's your best suggestion to get rid of?
