Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get a watchman (or any kind) goby and pistol shrimp to dig at the front of the tank? I'm getting a Red Sea Reefer 750 and I'd hate it if they end up at the back of my tank and I never get to see the pair...

So I have this pair of gold head gobies. Is there a way to tell which is male and which is female? Typically I would guess the larger one with the brighter colored head is the male? I’m planning on feeding copepods regularly and my substrate is a few inches deep so I hope they’re happy. I’m not...
