I am going to be transferring all of my live rock and fish. I was thinking of getting two 55g brute pails and using one to put all the rock in with a heater and power head and the Other with some rock and all my fish along with a heater ind power head. I am going to be doing a bare bottom. Just not feeling the sand anymore. How should I go about doing this. Is this approach seem good. My stock is probably about 14 fish ranging from a yellow belly hippo a yellow tank to an engineer goby tomini tang clown fish rabbit fish spotted foxface urchins and a few other. Let me know what you think. This is the new tank

Anyone have any insite on what else to do. I want to pre-pair as best I can. When I first put the 135 in the wall I took my time and everything came out perfect. I don't want to rush and I would love the feedback.

I believe the plan you have should work fine I have taken my tank down in the past and did the same thing with 50 gal trash cans.

my rebuild took 3 days each time and everything turned out OK.
