Yeah, I know .... I was joking. Left the tank outside, and it filled with rain water, twisted ..... done!

Yikes shucks! Happened to me before with a 60g cube... lesson learned

Got my acrylic baffles cut to modify this 125 gallon sump! 1/2” thick baffles! Also cut some white abs sheets to build my built-in-sump algae scrubber!

Wow insane built...enjoyed all the 4 pages so far...what i like about your build is you have been updating the thread with tons of pictures and comments as early as 4.33AM LOL...i am following it on redsea forum as well...Keep it up...what are you planning in controlling the humidity levels in your basement and in your family room where the Reefer and Fragtank is set. Do you think the moisture might affect your electronics TV etc? Just curious.

Thanks!!! Sometimes I can’t sleep because I’m too excited always thinking new things for the build haha. I like to post pictures more than writing paragraphs of stuff. For this build I’m keeping it simple and besides a picture is worth a thousand words [emoji6]

I have mini split systems that act as dehumidifier as well. The fish room down below has its own zone for temperature and humidity

Dry fitted baffles! The first chamber is the drain and built in updraft algae scrubber. I lined the chamber with white abs plastics so that light can reflect light all around the algae scrubber. From there, water flows into the filter sucks section which will hold 5 4” filter socks / cups. The chamber after that will be protein skimmer. Then reactor chamber and finally the return chamber!

Does anyone have any suggestions for gluing acrylic to existing acrylic sump? Baffles are 1/2” thick cast acrylic!

1st chamber with built in macro algae scrubber:

Finished baffling off my sump and the drain/ upflow algae scrubber looks ******. I’m going to get another one of these 12”x12” grow leds because my sump is 24” wide!

This is a great build so far. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! Been really busy and had to order more plumbing parts! I managed to get the sump downstairs for now. Old plumbing will be torn off for new plumbing!

Also added some mangroves to my rock curing process to take out excess po4 and no3
