Would it fit in a 12g Nanocube, which has a lid?

The dimensions are 4" x 4" x 9", so we'd recommend measuring your back chamber to see if it can accommodate the skimmer. Often times AIO tanks are able to accommodate the skimmer with the lid closed but not open. Sometimes hobbyists will mod the lid to accommodate a skimmer (which can void a warranty if the tank is still covered) or remove it altogether. The product description does state the skimmer is "Best for Open Top Nano Tanks up to 35 Gallons."

Spotted this product review which we believe helps to answer your question.

"This skimmer operates well, creates good froth, and is very quiet. Good for small reef tanks; however, I would like to note that I purchased this for a JBJ 12 Gallon Nano Cube to place in the middle rear chamber; however, to make it fit, I need to modify the casing a little (cut off the suction cup holders (using just the hang on holder), and re-position the air intake tube)). Also the water outlet tubing can not be used as it would not fit in the chamber."

Thanks so much!
