Haha barking drives me crazy! Thanks for catching up . I did get the pump noise fixed by using the soft tubing and plumbed it to the hard pvc. I agree that my system is very nice and I love it!lol got my dogs barking...well caught up..stuck w me now did you get that pump rattle fixed??nice system!
Update: I ordered a big pack from @MRReefs to be able to acclimate new corals/anemones, got a frag rack, and take better photos from top down view! Here are the pics!

Thanks, it makes me so happy to see SPS growing crazy fast! Sorry, I thought I mentioned it somewhere. I just do 15% WC biweekly with regular IO. I do not dose and everything looks awesome.Great looking tank. Must be exciting with all that Sps growth.
Are you still doing weekly WCs? I didn’t see what salt you’re using?

Hey guys! I’m finally starting my build thread for my 10 month old reef tank lol.
So, I have a 29g reef. I do around 15% water change weekly. (This tank is running without a sump, no skimmer, and no dosing.) I have a mix of softies, zoas, lps, and sps.
Setup: (GO TO PAGE 3 FOR UPDATED 75G SETUP)
Livestock: (need some recommendations!) (GO TO PAGE 3 FOR UPDATED 75G SETUP)
- Tank: 29g long
- Sand: 30 pounds of white sand
- Rock: 20 to 30 pounds of live rock
- Lighting: Mars Aqua 165W running at 75% blues, 0% whites for 8 hours a day.
- Stand: A granite top dresser from a bedroom set (I know right, but it looks nice lol)
- Filtration: Seachem Tidal 75 filled with ceramic bioballs, fine and coarse sponges, and Seachem matrix
- Heater: 100W heater (Don’t remember the brand), I also got a backup heater which is Eheim Jager
- Flow: 2 of Hydor Koralia Nano 565gph (total gph: 1,130gph)
- Lid: White eggcrate piece

- 1 Ocellaris Clown (used to have 2, but removed 1 due to insane aggression whenever I have blue lights on, that was a surprise!)
