the space is 12' 11" X 4ft deep
I am thinking of building a enclosure for the tank proball over the top window and then having a door to fishroom next to the windows.
Dont know if I will have the door even with the tank or right on the wall.

this is going to be the new fishroom

Are you going to cut a hole in the wall for the tank?

Tank will be inside the house with its own enclosure built around it vented to the gargage fishroom. Possibly framed window type openings to access the back of the tank. I will have a door that opens to the other exterior door in the garage from the inside. Im sure alot of holes in the wall.

I havent thought about putting the tank outside but might give it some thought as I should have plenty of room. The wall is the exterior wall of the home and is structural 10ft is alot to remove for the tank and the door penetration might weaking the integrity of the home. I will have to ask my contractor his opinion.

I was all set on marco rock, but found deal on 300 lbs of tukani rock hope to get it soon, with that and my existing rock I should have over 1000 lbs.

Hope I dont get new pests in live rock anyone have any experience with fiji tukani live rock having pests besides crabs?

after all frag tanks are set up with corals from the main I will dry portions of that rock out and place in the display over time.

Man Marcus do it right this time haha... Get all dry rock and start from scratch... I also wouldn't put as much rock as you did before in there... I would make 4 or 5 islands in there and have it all open... You have a huge tank man make it look that way... I think your last go around was just way to packed with rock man... Nothing personal just never been a fan of the fruit stand look... Check out soccerbags tank or sunnyx couple little islands and open space... That's what looks hot IMHO... I keep removing rock from my little cube to it's just so much healthier for the tank, better flow, less build up, looks nicer etc...;)

It must have been, copper goes up by the day. Nice build, what will you be doing with the window on the side of where the tank is going?

The window on the side where the tank is going is probally alright as the window is shaded by the trees in the back. If the algae gets bad on that side I will just block with a sheet of insulation but will keep as is for now. It might work out as positive as I can open it up to get fresh air to the tank and potenially increase orp
