hah yeah, i don't have a degree in that, but my router is all of 10 feet away from where i have the doser so shouldn't be an issue

same cheap issue when setting it up some of the instructions were definitely google translate. but reviews sound reliable and i wanted one i could control from my phone, and i aint spending ghl doser money
Hahaha, trying to go full GHL for this 40b build. Need some mp40's and some radions too. Some day I'll have it all together.

Tank is no longer running, bought a 57 Rimless and will be moving forward with that instead.

So I picked up a Deep Blue 57 Rimless a couple weeks ago for a screaming good deal. Custom glass sump, aquarium, custom built stand and a Jebao DCT-6000 for $100, how could I say no to this. Some picture to get this build started:

Traded this sump to a local club member for some nice Hammer, Neon green trumpet, blue trumpet and cabbage leather as I it didn't really fit for what I wanted to use it for.

Glass tank and plumbing waiting for a good cleaning.

Custom built wooden cabinet.

Decided to paint the inside of the cabinet brite white using Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy.

I didn't scuff or prime the interior of the cabinet and that made it take a few more coats to have complete coverage and I think it came out ok.

A local reefer and friend @CNDReef hooked me up a while back with this Aquaticlife 4 bulb t5 fixture and that will primarily live on the tank until I can afford some more radions. A guy can dream, right?

I had a bunch of Marco rock and E-Marco 400 cement left over from the last couple of builds I had been working on. I really wanted to find some old tonga branch but decided to just use what I had on hand.

This tank will primarily be Designer SPS as I have quites a few frags cooking in a biocube currently. Came up with 2 pillar like structures so far. The one on the right is huge and allows for a lot of surface area as a shelf. I may add a couple more inches to the bottom for overall height.
IMG_20191122_164943.jpg

It's raining here today and will be for the next couple of days, so the 3 rocks on the right will have to wait until the weather clears to cut up outside. So far, I'm enjoying myself with this build and am excited to start collecting more equipment for it. I told my daughters I'd get them new iPhone 11 pros for xmas but really would rather get a pair of Radion xr30's, lol. More than likely I'll end up with 2 possibly 3 XR15G4pro's over this. Stay tuned for some updates in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait.

I did buy a 2 tiered rolling utility cart last week from Harbor Freight to use as a workbench. Bought a Dremel 4000 with flex shaft, some 1/2" conduit, an eye bolt and some "S" hooks to hang it while working on things. I've used this last weekend to frag a bunch of Hawkins Echinata for my local clubs monthly meeting and frag swap. Here's a couple pics of it in it's glory.

Small update, I haven't done much to this tank as it was Christmas and my back is really bothering me lately. Lots of laying down, looking from afar. I picked up a Deep Blue 80 rimless that I plan to tie into the trigger sump for the 57 DT. Here's a picture of my oldest and the tank her and her boyfriend struggled picking up for me.

Super slow and crooked cut weir teeth.
IMG_20200115_094829.jpg
Gained about 2- 3 inches of more space by removing the massive curve from the Deep Blue weir, just waiting on some black silicone to get this bad boy in. Ordered some new bulkheads and blue PVC to tie the 57 and 80 into the trigger sump. Next up will be a return pump and plumbing.

Got some plumbing fittings delivered today and some blue 1" and 1/2" PVC pipe.
MVIMG_20200124_124421.jpg

Also, upgrade my 75 gpd RO/DI to a 150 gpd and added an AquaFX booster pump.
MVIMG_20200123_143519.jpg

Really is amazing on how much quicker water is produced.

Little by slow this build is coming together. Surgeon called me to let me know that my most recent MRI showed that I'd need an anterior fusion and another fusion of L5,S1 and L4. Fun times ahead. Anyway, here's what I've been working on.

This will hold a Deep Blue 80 Rimless frag tank and on the shelf will be the Trigger 34 and matching ATO. Should be in place on Sunday and then finally I can start the plumbing on the 2 tanks. My local club is going to have a booth at the Frag Farmers Market in CT on Saturday. Got some nice sticks and zoas/palys for sale, hoping to maybe be able to buy a new Radion out of it. Fingers Crossed.
