Hey all, it's good to soon have a real tank! In a week or two I will be picking up a Perfecto 93 gal cube from a fellow reefer. I want to enjoy this and take my time with all the planning and building. So let's start off with some planning. It's coming with a 40 gal breeder for a sump and I want the best skimmer I could possibly get for about 200-300$. The stand is custom and I don't have the exact dimensions of what will fit or the foot print I can work with in the sump until he gets back to me.

My second goal/? Is led lighting. I'm very good with electronics and plan on doing DIY. So far the only company to get back to me is Steve's LEDs. I'm wondering what are the best LEDs out there and what route as far how many to get the pheonix 14k or maybe 16k look, 20k is to blue for me. Are there any companies out there that I'm missing? I was going to to do a pre organized kit but can do either. The tank measures 30w*30l*24h if that helps. I want the tank to be lps dominant with a few sps and the usuals like zoas and shrooms on the bottom. Thanks for the input in advance and I will be adding to this as the build begins

The only thing I'm not happy with is the center overflow and the way it sticks out like 5 inches and that the 2 return lines that just hang over the top...... Wish it was drilled but not sure if I can. Hope you all like.

Looks like a nice setup. If you don't like the overflow over the top. Just drill it floe to the top in the back for th return and problem solved. I wish I had room for a 36 inch sump under my 30x30 cube. I need to get a sump built. Just haven't figured out who to use yet.

Usually glass tanks with acrylic baffles although one guy actualy cut all his baffles in glass with 1/4" spacing. He said it was nerve wracking.

Hey everybody :) Happy Saturday. Have two ?'s for this tank, First one is mp10's or mp40's? Second, what's the biggest fish you would put in a 30*30*24, 93 gal cube?
