Does anyone knows what is used for the reagent? Is it toxic to the fish/inverts? I have about 200 gal total volume. I dumped half of the finished test tube in the tank. :face-with-rolling-eyes:

Not sure but it's only one ml of reagent at most...could add some gac if there's a worry.

It should not be toxic but add high grade carbon ASAP which will eliminate any toxins and chemicals from reagents. If fish act funny which should not happen, do a significant water change. You should be fine based on the very small amount contained in the bottle

I believe the ingredients are phenolphthalein, bromophenol, and hydrochloric acid.

I added the new carbon right after it happened :)

It will be fine. It won’t noticeably effect the alk in the large tank volume, since all it does is an alk change in a single cuvette, and the diluted dyes are not a concern either.
