This morning I moved three fish from their QT home into an acclimation box in my DT. What is the standard protocol for the use of these boxes? It doesn't seem that the previous fish in the DT care much about the new arrivals. Thoughts?

Wouldn't catching them after aggression just cause more stress?

Leave them in the box for 2-4 days that's what I do now during that time keep an eye out for aggression if all is well after those days let them out I usually just lower the box and let them come out when they are ready.

The point of an acclimation box is to test out the new arrivals against the established fish. To be sure they wont fight. If after a few days you dont see any aggression between the new and old fish then release them into the tank.
