Hi Guys
I run two 250w 20k radiums over my chalice tank. I would like to add some actinic to the tank and i was thinking LED would be a great way to go. Do any of the LED manufacturers just make an actinic style led light hood?

Just add all blue LED strips. They come in different lengths 24,36,48 if you just want to add LED's for supplemental actinic.

ok so is there a site that can tell me what leds match up to what nanometers? IE 420, 430, etc or do i just need to get a mix of each type of blue and purple led to cover the most actinic spectrum?

I think you'll be fine adding the stunner strips but they are a little pricey. I wouldn't limit your options just yet, shop around a little longer but I would say yes to the color combo on a light bar. A 1:1 403/453 would be nice.
Here is my 80 gallon with just one 27 watt blue LED and then a pic with all my lights on.
