It's some sort of hair or turf algae. Manual removal is your best first step.

In the photograph it is mostly green.

Is the growth a collection of fine filaments.

Hair algae.bit also looks brown under certain light . You can also get brown hair algae I've had it !

What are the tank parameters btw ? Also what's the lighting schedule?
