Brand new in box. $110 shipped obo. Cool little algae scrubber. I’m upgrading tanks soon and it won’t be big enough.

They don’t list a tank size recommendation as it would work on a 5g or 500g tank. It just depends how much nutrients you are trying to export. I’d say as a stand alone scrubber on an average tank probably 50g rating. If you had other means of nutrient export such as a refugium you could go bigger. You can also run multiple units. The footprint is very small and one of the huge selling points on these. I have copied the dimensions below.
HOG1 dimensions: Each cover is 5" wide x 6 5/8" high x 1" thick (12.7cm wide x 16.8cm high x 2.5cm thick).
