I recently added a black Ocellaris clownfish and a coral beauty to my tank on Sunday. I conducted a water change and all seamed well. The CB did deem to be having trouble swimming and would be pushed around by the current.
I had a pre exciting clownfish in the tank that had been doing well for over a month.
Monday rolled around and the fish were all in good shape. The CB was swimming perfectly and did not seam to have any distress.
This morning however all 3 fish were dead. I immediately checked the tank water and everything seamed fine. The temp was high at 86 and the alkalinity was high at 13 but all other peramiters were optimal with no trace of ammonia.
The fish store I got from treats with copper so I did not bother using the QT.
All inverts and coral are doing well.
Is this marine velvet?
