I have two percula clownfish and a bubble tip anemone, the clowns were being hosted by a magnificent sea anemone in the LFS so I thought that might give a greater chance of them getting along with my bta. However every time they touch it they dart away and have a freakout like it just stung them. Is this normal ? Thanks

It's like a drug. They can't help it. Lol. Actually though, they are getting stung. They're building up their slime coats to be able to host. You'll eventually see them put a tentacle in their mouths too. They're freaks.

Their conditioning themselves to the anemone. Its the anemone that hosts, not the clowns who are in essence guests and need to be accepted and adjust to it
