Hi all, anyone got any ideas what this is please??
Is it a new mushroom growing? Doesn't look like Aiptasia but is also growing on the end of what I thought was dead coral skeleton??

Majano or ball anemone? Does it retract?

Pic doesn’t really look like a mushroom. What was the coral skeleton? Can you get clearer pics? Otherwise a written description might help. The pic is pretty blurry.

It sort of looks to me like it could be a tiny toadstool leather with polyps extended.
Do only the polyps retract ever, or does the whole thing close up at times?

I only found it late last night and then it's been out the whole time, I'll try and get a better picture and see if it retracts as the lights go down
