Hi,

Tank is only a few months old. I have a pretty hefty population of rather large bristle worms that came with my live rock. They come out at feeding time. Been staring at pictures of bristle worms and can't seem to get a feel for which are good and which are bad. Any thoughts on these are appreciated. Will they hurt corals or fish? If the images aren't clear enough for an ID, I'll try to get better pictures.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like the beneficial type. If the colors are bright or more red than pink, I'd say you have fireworms, but that one looks plain pinkish.

Thanks. They don't seem to be bright red. I might set a trap anyway, since I'm terrified of the possibility of having a tank full of killer worms.
