I preformed a test in a volume of approximately 5 gallons with a salinity of 1.026 specific gravity which was measured by a Milwaukee Salinity Refractometer.
After following the instructions the following readings were done:
All tests were applied with a 1.00 ml syringe
Test 1: exactly 0.29 ml were used leaving 0.71 ml of reagent which is ~430
Test 2: 0.27 ml of reagent were used leaving 0.73 ml of reagent left which is ~440
Test 3: 0.30 ml of reagent were used leaving ~0.705 which is ~450
All 3 tests give an average of 440 ppm Mg in a 5 gallon bucket.
Standard deviation is 10?
