Are these white things pods?

Found a lot of these recently on the rock and crawling on top of the coral. Only one that seems affected is a green leather polyp that hasn’t extended for a few days. Are they pods are something worse? Thanks in advance.

Yes pods. Surprised theyre out in the daylight as they generally hide until low light or lights out
