Hello. My tank is just over 3 months old. All parameters are in range. I run one mp40 on a mixed flow pattern. I think I'm looking at a bad case of diatoms. They were a brown color now more of a redish pink. They do seem to disappear at night. Is it safe to assume that cyano doesn't? Does more flow really help? I'm thinking I just need to power through it.

Do you have pics? Cyano also typically recedes a bit at night.
