Best option for covering up ugly mortar holding rocks together?

Hi y'all,

I used some mortar to form a tall tower out of two live rocks. Does anyone have any tricks for covering up and or hiding the mortar? It's an ugly dark gray color.

Time. Coraline, algae & corals will cover it eventually

I used quite a bit of stone fix on my rock work which dried brown. To cover some of the mortar I super glued small rubble rock to the joints which not only covered the mortar but also made the joints look much more natural.
