Hi, I have this blue cespitualria that is growing like a weed. What’s the best way to prune it. Out of tank submerged in water? While the place I got it from says it’s peaceful it beat up my xenia pretty bad. I was told the xenia are the troublemakers but this bad boy is taking over the tank. Last time I tried fragging but like most softies they didn’t glue to well to the rubble

IMHO - be careful. When you cut those - they can release various toxins in the water. I would take the rock out - and cut what you want off. I would not try to 'frag' them - in the main tank. Im sure others will have other opinions

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
